That’s the real problem I have with the trilogy so far, I can’t buy the group as being a spiritual successor to past generations because they don't feel any real camaraderie between them. The main three don’t spend any time together the whole film. This film just completely drops Poe as a character for like more than half of it's run time, which is a terrible move when you’re trying to set up new characters as being the inheritors to mythic figures like Han Solo and Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia.
